Inside a New York High-Rise Apartment: Fior di Bosco Stone and Piet Boon
Above the streets of Manhattan, this New York high-rise apartment offers a considered approach to material and detail. In the bathroom, Fior di Bosco natural stone is set against restrained architecture, with Piet Boon tapware carrying the detail work. The result is a space where stone, light and architectural detail work together.

Rain Overhead
The shower takes a similarly considered approach. The ceiling shower configuration designed by Piet Boon is set flush into the ceiling, keeping the line of the room uninterrupted from floor to ceiling.
Alongside it, the PB SET23 wall-mounted hand shower set provides a practical counterpart, positioned within easy reach while remaining visually restrained. Together, the two elements contribute to the architectural character of this Piet Boon bathroom, balancing function with clean lines.
Continuity Into the Kitchen
The same material language continues into the kitchen, where the PB Kitchen Mixer with pull-out spray brings the design language together with a refined, functional finish.
A Considered Approach to Modern Living
No individual piece carries the room alone. Fior di Bosco gives the bathroom its weight and character, while the Piet Boon collection brings precision to the details. It is the relationship between stone, light and fittings - rather than any single element - that gives the space its sense of intent.
Together, these elements create a contemporary bathroom design that feels connected to the architecture of the apartment, rather than treated as a separate room.
Where Designer-Led Detail Meets Purpose
Rooted in proportion and material, the Piet Boon Collection by COCOON brings a consistent design language to the space. The bath mixer, basin fittings, ceiling shower configuration and kitchen mixer are drawn from the same collection, allowing each element to work together without competing for attention.
Across the bathroom and kitchen, the collection reflects Piet Boon’s approach to form, material and everyday use - precise in detail, considered in proportion and designed to sit naturally within the architecture.
