A Luxurious Home Makeover From Kitchen to Bathroom

A Luxurious Home Makeover From Kitchen to Bathroom

A full home makeover is about more than individual rooms. In this residence in Indianapolis, every space was reimagined as part of a cohesive whole. The transformation brings together architecture, interior design, and carefully selected materials to shape a home defined by balance and quiet luxury.

Throughout the interior, natural stone, warm finishes, and considered proportions establish a sense of continuity. From social living areas to more private spaces, the design reflects a shared philosophy: timeless materials, functional clarity, and an atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. Within this setting, the kitchen and bathroom become focal points where craftsmanship and daily rituals meet.

Where Designer-Led Elements Meet Purpose

Studio: Britto Charette

Photographer: Mike Schwartz

Britto Charette approached this full home makeover with a clear focus on cohesion, craftsmanship, and atmosphere. From the entry hall through to the private spaces, the interior is shaped by layered materials, custom elements, and a refined sense of proportion. Each room contributes to a larger narrative, allowing the home to feel considered, balanced, and complete.

Within this context, COCOON’s bathroom elements are introduced with restraint. A marble bath from the Piet Boon Collection and minimalist tapware integrate seamlessly into the broader design language. It reinforces a sense of timeless luxury where function and material take precedence.

A Bath Carved from Stone

The marble bath in COCOON Bianco becomes a sculptural element within the bathroom. Defined by its solid presence and refined finish, it brings a sense of permanence and calm to the space.

A composed arrival

The Entry Hall

The entry hall sets the tone for the home from the very first step inside. Carefully layered materials and custom elements introduce a sense of balance and restraint. It is a quiet transition space, designed to ease movement from outside into the heart of the home.

A space to gather

The Living Room

In the living room, comfort and refinement come together in a setting shaped for everyday living. Soft furnishings, custom details, and a considered palette create an atmosphere that feels welcoming without excess.

Sharing moments

The Dining Area

The dining area continues the home’s cohesive language, offering a setting for both intimate meals and larger gatherings.

A place to linger

The Bar and Pantry

The bar is an extension of the living spaces, designed for informal moments and evening get-togethers. The restrained material palette gives the area a calm, intimate character. It is a place to pause, connect, and transition between social and private zones of the home.

The heart of the home

The Kitchen

The kitchen brings together function, craftsmanship, and material continuity. Natural surfaces, clean lines, and carefully considered proportions create a space that supports everyday use.

A quiet transition

The Bathroom Hallway

Moving toward the bathroom, the hallway acts as a gentle threshold between the social spaces of the home and more private ones. Softened light guides the transition, allowing the pace to slow as the atmosphere becomes more intimate and composed.

Everyday clarity

The Vanity in Scope

At the vanity, simplicity defines the experience. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and a restrained palette allow daily routines to unfold with ease. The space feels calm and purposeful with tapware from the Piet Boon collection echoing the mirror frames.

A space to unwind

A Spa Inspired Shower

The shower opens up as a calm, spacious enclosure. Glass, stone, and light work together to create a sense of ease. The space feels open, quiet, and unhurried, echoing the atmosphere of a private spa.

A moment of relaxation

The Bathtub in Focus

Elevated on its own platform, the natural stone PB BATH feels like an occasion. A place to soak and unwind amongst the marble’s organic tones.
