Where Designer-Led Elements Meet Purpose

Rooted in his pursuit of simplicity and proportion, John Pawson's collaboration with COCOON brings architectural clarity to this timber house bathroom. While the residence itself is not designed by Pawson, the bath, basin, and fixtures come from the John Pawson by COCOON collection, reflecting his balanced approach to form, material, and use.

A Bath Cast in Earth

The JP BATH SOLID SURFACE in Earth holds its round form without a seam breaking the line from rim to base. Set against the glass and the forest beyond it, the bath reads as one grounded gesture, its warm, matte tone answering the oak around it.

Overhead, the JP SET24THERM thermostatic bath fixtures set in Brushed Gold are mounted flush to the wall. Once set, the temperature holds, so the fitting is used rather than adjusted twice a quiet, functional note that keeps the focus on the bath's stillness.
